Single-Page Websites

This trend really started in 2019, some growth in 2020, but 2021 will be no different as this trend continues.

Gone are the days of building long and extensive web structures. With people using the internet through mobile devices, single page websites are much easier to navigate. The old ways of building separate pages for different topics are becoming obsolete.

Single page websites greatly minimize the page load and make it faster, which decreases bounce rate. They work well on both mobile and desktop because of their simplicity. Moreover, they are not expensive to develop and host. Single-page sites assist businesses to reach their specific target audience with limited content. Moreover, minimalist designs are easier to read and are more appealing.

A single page website does not mean lack of content.  It means all the important information is on the page and users scroll down vs CLICK CLICK CLICK.

Website Security

50,000 Website are estimated to be hacked every day.  Many of them are Wordpress, but not all.

According to studies, almost 50,000 websites are breached by hackers every day. This is worrisome since many companies are using digital platforms to run their businesses. Websites, on the other hand, contain a lot of sensitive customer information. 2021 is the year when strict website security protocols will be put in place for compliance.

Using HTTPS protocol will be a priority for all website developers and owners. HTTPS protocol is a basic security standard for all websites as it ensures secure communication without any threat from third parties. The websites that are not protected by HTTPS are marked by google as unsafe.

Regularly updating software will become vital to ensure website security. And effective password management solutions will also be adopted.
