Across The Board Food Delivery (www.atbfooddelivery.com) is a local food distributor in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region that specializes in providing sustainable food delivery services for local food trucks, brick and mortar restaurants, and farmers. Since our inception in 2016, we have been committed to providing a high standard of service that is mutually beneficial for local chefs and delivery drivers.
During the height of the COVID 19 pandemic, many restaurants were facing economic uncertainty. Many local chefs who did not have in-house delivery were forced to use mainstream 3rd party delivery apps due to government regulations that prohibited indoor dining and large gatherings. Although restaurants were able to reach customers using these mainstream 3rd party delivery apps, they were being charged high commission rates. Across The Board Food Delivery found it imperative to support local food communities anyway we could. With the clear understanding that local chefs were in need of a reliable delivery service that would allow them to profit from the meals that were being delivered, Across The Board Food Delivery evolved.
In June of 2020, they began serving food trucks and farmers who were also looking for a sustainable way to fulfill delivery orders without compromising reliability and professionalism. The ability to offer delivery services commission free has proven to be beneficial. We understand the importance of sustainability in the local food ecosystem, and we value sustainable symbiotic business relationships with our clients. Our mission is to help contribute to the economic growth within the local food ecosystem by connecting local chefs and farmers to consumers and local businesses/institutions who value and understand the importance of local purchasing.
